Lunchonline Joins Fresh Made

Another online lunch company has signed up to fuelled4life Fresh Made. Lunchonline a Hawkes Bay based company has signed up with fuelled4life to make healthier lunch items available to their schools. As for packaged food, freshly made school lunch items are classified as ‘everyday’ or ‘sometimes’ according to their nutrient profile. For example a salad sandwich is classified as everyday and macaroni cheese may be recommended as a sometimes food. Participating school food companies are helped by a Heart Foundation nutritionist to modify their recipes and after analysis foods are then classified in one of the two categories. This can be sign posted on menus giving parents the option of choosing healthier food for their children's lunch. Read more about Fresh Made here.
