The fuelled4life Expo being held on 24 October will give food companies the opportunity to showcase their fuelled4life registered products to schools and early childhood education (ECE) services.

Based on the Food and Beverage Classification System, fuelled4life is a collaborative initiative that involves the education, health and food industry sectors working together to make it easier to have healthier food in schools and ECE services. This free event aims to help ECE services and schools to provide cost effective, nutritious options that give children and young people more variety and choice.

Michael Van de Elzen of the TV programme Food Truck will share his experiences of his time on the show and how he overcame the challenge of making healthier food appealing to the general public. Andrew Shortcliffe, an inspirational Principal from Hastings will talk about how he transformed his school’s canteen into a vibrant cafe. There will also be food demonstrations, a prize draw and competitions.

On the day there will also be food demonstrations, goodie bags and free samples.
