Beef Burger

A healthy alternative to a favourite takeaway meal that meets the everyday classification.

Method

  • Mix together the pattie ingredients except for the vegetable oil.
  • Divide into four balls, and flatten into patties.
  • Cook the patties for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until it is cooked through.
  • Remove from the grill and place onto the burger buns.  Top with vegetables and sauce.

You need

  • 320g Lean Beef Mince
  • 1/2 onion Onion
  • 1/2 carrot Carrot
  • 50g Frozen peas and corn
  • 2 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Wholemeal breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tbsp Wholemeal flour
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tsp Vegetable oil for cooking patties
  • 4 Wholemeal burger buns
  • Fresh vegetables for filling ie lettuce, sliced tomato and cucumber
  • 4 tsp Sweet chilli sauce or tomato sauce
