Beef Burger
A healthy alternative to a favourite takeaway meal that meets the everyday classification.
Method
- Mix together the pattie ingredients except for the vegetable oil.
- Divide into four balls, and flatten into patties.
- Cook the patties for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until it is cooked through.
- Remove from the grill and place onto the burger buns. Top with vegetables and sauce.

You need
- 320g Lean Beef Mince
- 1/2 onion Onion
- 1/2 carrot Carrot
- 50g Frozen peas and corn
- 2 Egg
- 1 Tbsp Wholemeal breadcrumbs
- 1 Tbsp Wholemeal flour
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 tsp Vegetable oil for cooking patties
- 4 Wholemeal burger buns
- Fresh vegetables for filling ie lettuce, sliced tomato and cucumber
- 4 tsp Sweet chilli sauce or tomato sauce
